It was the first leaue game on our newly laid pitch which has stood up to the recent wet weather. The new barriers and pathways have been installed and the field is starting to look good.
It was a large crowd that witnessed the first league game and win of the New Year.
It was the visitors who got on the scoreboard first with a penalty, a good kick from just inside the half way line.
Treharris responded with a well placed kick by outside half Dale Evans to find wing Daniel O'Neill who gathered to score the home side's first try 5-3
Steve Parry took a quick tap penalty on the 5 metre line and Leighton Palmer crossed for the second try. 10-3
The second half saw Treharris start strongly and Steve Parry crossed for a well deserved try which Dale Evans converted. 17-3
It was an evenly fought battle in the second half and the visitors crossed for their first try of the game which they converted.
