Treharris record first win of the season

Treharris hosted Wattstown in this third fixture of the season and recorded their first win. It was the visitors who took the lead following a penalty. It took the home side 30 minutes to level the score with the highlight of the first half being a solo run by Connor Jones.

Treharris went into the lead with a penalty for a collapsed scrum on the half time whistle.

The home crowd were desperate to see a try and were rewarded when scrum half Rhys Davies stole the ball at a scrum and put Alun Williams away for the first try.

A great carry by second row Leighton Palmer saw Treharris extend their lead with the second try of the afternoon which was enough to seal the win.
