Treharris hosted Wattstown in this third fixture of the season and recorded their first win. It was the visitors who took the lead following a penalty. It took the home side 30 minutes to level the score with the highlight of the first half being a solo run by Connor Jones.
Treharris went into the lead with a penalty for a collapsed scrum on the half time whistle.
The home crowd were desperate to see a try and were rewarded when scrum half Rhys Davies stole the ball at a scrum and put Alun Williams away for the first try.
A great carry by second row Leighton Palmer saw Treharris extend their lead with the second try of the afternoon which was enough to seal the win.
