Treharris travelled to Pentyrch and opened the game with some intent with Jarad ‘Ouse’ Walters taking on the Pentyrch defence. It was the home side that put the first points on the board with a fine solo try from the wing which was converted.The home side dominated most of the play in the first half with some strong running from the backs.Treharris responded with a great try from Scott Giles to end the first half at 17-5. Despite the home side extending the lead in the second half it was Treharris who finished the strongest running in the final two tries of the game with the highlight being a strong run by Andrew Llewellyn and finished by Cory McCabe
