Two great wins and one non-event...time for Treharris Youth to regain their momentum against Abercwmboi.

Treharris opt to kick off right to left. Explosive start from the forwards followed by a powerful try on 4 mins by Andrew Llewellyn, conversion by Brad Jones

The restart sees Treharris youth pushed back into their own 22 but Brad "the boot" Jones sends them straight back to defend from their 10 metre line. Forwards return the pressure leaving Darian Pritchard with a crash try at the 16 minute mark, Brad Jones with the conversion. 0-14 ..... looking good.

Treharris backs are having a lovely day, nice ball play from the forwards allows them the freedom to run. Superb, if slightly over the top, Swan dive from Alec Jones sees the lead extend 0-19.

Shaun Blunt playing very well, this boy has put his boots on correctly. Support play and hard tackling allow Rhys Davies to put in a 60m run. Score line extends to 0-26, conversion by Brad Jones.

Game gets a bit "scrappy" at 33mins; referee opts to send both Captains off for not controlling their players.

Second half sees the Captains return to the field, so far the only action in 10 minutes. Poor tackling from Treharris sees Abercwmboi confidently run in a score. 5-26

 All quiet again. Abercwmboi hold the possession but fail to break out defence. Tom Mathias makes a break into the centre and allows a timely finish by Alec Jones, Brad Jones conversion 5-33.

Game gets messy again from Treharris. Poor play allows the home team to score a nicely worked try 10-33.

End of the game approaches and once again Shaun Blunt is in the action. Gutsy run backed up by poor Abercwmboi tackling sees Shaun finish a great show of rugby. Conversion by Brad Jones ends the game 10-40
